Thank you to our 3DMD Model Teachers^© Dan Williams and Keri Shingleton for your hard work in during another successful conference. They each presented three sessions at NSTA Atlanta and shared molecular stories and passion for modeling with other educators. We're not able to make as big of an impact without them, thank you Dan and Keri!

Science Spotlight

Jennifer Doudna is a pioneer in the advancement of CRISPR. She, alongside Emmanuelle Charpentier, were the first two to propose that CRISPR-Cas9 could be used for the editing of the human genome. This research led to both receiving a Nobel Prize in Chemistry, "for the development of a method for genome editing," in 2020. Learn about the Doudna Lab, and the advances her and her team have made with CRISPR.
