Lauren Koepsel
Marketing Communications Manager
As Marketing Communications Manager, Lauren Koepsel develops marketing campaign strategies around new products, special events, conferences and more for 3D Molecular Designs. She uses her background in creative writing to craft meaningful messages that resonate with a multitude of audiences. In her free time, Lauren enjoys playing board games with friends, gardening and learning how to play the theremin.
Kristopher Fournier
Multi-Media Developer
Kris Fournier has a background in game development and has worked for three years creating educational modules with AR/VR technologies. He is part of the team developing AR for our kits and models and will work closely with the Education Department as they create new materials. Kris has a cat named Indy and has a passion for gaming; being a strong advocate for its use in educational design.
Science Spotlight
Recognized as one of the top African American scientists and engineers of the 20th century, Emmett Chappelle is most known for his work in bioluminescence research. In 1966, Chappelle joined NASA as a part of the Goddard Space Flight Center where he developed a method for ATP detection that can be used to detect life on other planets as well as on microbiological organisms. As strong advocates for modeling in the classroom, 3D Molecular Designs offers our Summer Courses, Modeling the Molecular World, to show the power physical models have on students, as evidenced by those who have previously attended:
