Science Spotlight

A pioneer in the field of microbiology and immunology, A. Oveta Fuller lead research into the B5 receptor, increasing our understanding or Herpes and HIV/AIDS. She then fought against many of the myths surrounding these viruses and educating the public about their true natures. Fuller also worked with the Trusted Messenger Intervention (TMI) program to educate communities in Zambia, the U.S., and many other countries about HIV/AIDS.
