Modeling is best experienced in a group, working together to understand the molecular world better. It is also fun to share with friends and colleagues! Receive discounted pricing for attending Modeling the Molecular World, when you attend with a colleague from your school. When multiple teachers attend from the same school, the first teacher enrolling with be charged full price. Feng Zhang, PhD, is a Chinese-American biochemist most known for his research and development into optogenetics and CRISPR technologies. Zhang and his team at the Zhang lab reported the first successful demonstration of Cas9-based genome editing in human cells in 2013. They focus on developing CRISPR tools to diagnose and treat diseases and genetic disorders.
