• Merger of CBM with 3DMD
• SBIR funding for the Augmented Reality Program
• Professional educators on staff to enhance our webinars and workshops
• Updating mini models to be more durable and interactive
• New production equipment like our customized Toyo press

A Bright Future for SMART Teams

Enthusiasm, enhancements, and education combine for excellence!

Giving students a chance to dig deeper into protein folding and the academic communication that occurs in science are cornerstones of the SMART Team program. With CBM merging with 3DMD, the program will continue with even more support and access to resources.  In fact, Mark Arnholtz, one of our science educators, will be taking the lead on the program implementation. Mark is a veteran SMART Team teacher, having run SMART Teams at Hartford Union High School here in Wisconsin for the past 10 years. He knows these student modeling programs from the inside/teacher’s perspective, and we are delighted to have him on board to manage this newly envisioned modeling program. 

Teachers can look forward to:

• Printing of the protein model by 3DMD
• Continued access to outstanding science resources
• Additional support for teams throughout their building process
