3DMD Model Teachers Go Above and Beyond
Mary Howard, Washington Township Public Schools, and Jennifer Zinman, Lacordaire Academy, went above and beyond in their efforts in running the booth, doing sessions, and helping teachers during the New Jersey Science Convention. Mary did a session on modeling DNA, RNA, and Proteins, while Jennifer ran a workshop on modeling meiosis.
Sarah Urban, Helena Public School District, presented a workshop on modeling protein structure at the Montana Federation of Public Employees 2022 Educator Conference. Her passion for hands-on modeling to engage science learners is contagious!
For many of us, the Modeling the Molecular World summer courses held at the CBM for the past decade were a pivotal learning experience leading to a transformation in our teaching. A few reasons this experience is so amazing include:
